On March 26-29, the La Quinta Inns & Suites Annual Conference saw a gathering of over 1,500 attendees. The three-day event, held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas, honored its theme (Elevate) by featuring educational sessions as well as a celebration of high achievement.
Here are a few interesting points from the conference.
1. What Elevate Means
In the general opening session, Keith Cline, CEO of La Quinta Holdings Inc. elaborated on the theme further.
“Elevate means to raise or lift up to a higher position, and that is certainly our goal,” Cline said to a record-size audience. As part of the brand transformation, they are seeking to renovate, illuminate, and invigorate great focus, he said.
2. Introducing Inntensity™
At the annual conference, Innvision Hospitality showcased a new custom-approved design concept: Inntensity™.
Vibrant and energetic, Inntensity™ is a bold breakthrough from the subtle design schemes traditionally used in hospitality.
3. New Inn of the Year Award
As the conference came to an end, we celebrated with Hampton Patel, principal of the new La Quinta Inn and Suites in Cleveland Tennessee that was recently announced as the New Inn of the Year.
The award winning custom design created by Innvision for the 80-room, 4-story property was recognized for maintaining a consistent and pleasant guest experience.
Overall, the 2017 La Quinta conference was an upbeat event, encouraging attendees to look up and elevate all brand aspects, from revenue to business reputation.
